Welcome to Heartwood®, Inc., a custom contract wood and metal manufacturer based in Seattle, WA and established in 1977.

The company specializes in projects from single custom conference tables to multi-floor commercial installations and high-end furniture and cabinets utilizing creative solutions always working as part of a project team. Examples of our fine craftsmanship can be seen in all lines of business (see photos below) and we are are continually developing new products (see photos of Heartwood Logon TableTM and Tassel Table on right). >

We work primarily with wood and metal and have extensive experience integrating stone, glass and a variety of materials into a cohesive design.

RESIDENTIAL -- Howard and Jim Olson, Architect (seated) with Custom Chinese Chairs, which have been made for a private client in Hong Kong.  We are shipping these Chinese chairs to China! 

The new 1521 Reception Desk and Hallway are of quartered figured French Aspen and the desk has a Metallic Steel Top. The wall behind the desk is re-claimed old growth VG fir. Both woods have a light honey shade.
